I just noticed this. The two pictures of Opportunity on pages 5 and 6 in the Building Instructions do not match up. The two middles legs have the “Catch w/2M Axle” in different positions. I’ve studied the two pictures over and over and my eyes tell me the same thing.
The position of the two Catch w/2M Axle pieces will make a difference when students design a fork lift of some sort to move Opportunity.

The picture on Page 6 is the correct view. The axles in question are located correctly in the picture on page 6, on page 5 the are backwards. The Black plates represent the rear of Opportunity. The middle leg, should have the axle facing toward the rear of Opportunity.

Does Opportunity have to be upright in Yellow Knife Bay? The mission video states this, but the Mission Rules do not.

Chris- Yes Opportunity needs to be upright once it is delivered into Yellow Knife Bay to score. We will check the mission rules and adjust as needed. Thank you

I need to know the measurement of the top of the black plates from the mat please.
Doug- RCX said:
Well The measurement may change based on how Opportunity is placed.
Opportunity, as pictured on the final picture of the Opportunity building instructions, is the correct position at the start of the match. The height from the mat to the bottom of the black triangular plate is roughly 2-1/4 inches.
