 Game Time 2 Documents

Since only about 1/2 of the schools have kept the Game Time supplies from last year, AND because I have Game Time 2 supplies on order from my vendors, I will not post documents and videos at this time.  To be fair to all schools I will not post the Game Time 2 documents and videos until I am able to ship the supplies to the schools which should be toward the end of October.

 Mission Objects for Game Time 2

Mission Objects from the Game Time Challenge will be used in a different way, manor, starting &/or scoring position.  Read the Missions & Rules document carefully when it is provided.  Nothing will be done in exactly the same manor.  

The following Mission Objects will be reused: Basketball, Baseball, Football, Golf pucks (2), Pool Balls (4), Soccer Ball, Badminton Net LEGOs, Bowling Pins (2), Connect 4 Chips (4), Dice-Large (5), Dice-Small (5),  Domino LEGOs, Domino Tiles (8), Jenga Blocks (6), Playing Cards (6).

 

The Chess, Scrabble, & Shuttle Cock pieces will be replaced.  Items will be announced when supplies are shipped.

  

Game Time 2 Documents and videos will be provided once the supplies are shipped to the schools.  Supplies should ship toward the end of October.

 

 A clue for Game Time 2 Missions

Games are played against an opponent, another team and so on.  If you want to strategize by using last year's Game Time Missions & Rules document, feel free to do so. 

1.  By using the Game Time Missions & Rules, pretend you were Opponent 1, or Team 1 in the manor the missions & rules asked you to maneuver the mission objects. 

2.  For Game Time 2, the missions & rules will consider you now as Opponent 2, or Team 2, and you will have to maneuver the mission objects in reaction to what Opponent 1, or Team 1 did.  You might be playing defense, or repositioning mission objects.

3.  The Game Time mat will be reused.  No changes to the pictured mat.  But how you use that picture with the mission objects will be the difference.

4.  Containers will be needed again.  However, expect to create containers that are more advanced than what you did last year.  Start with what you created and think better.

 

Lastly, don't be confused.  The Game Time Missions & Rules document was not changed.  If using the Game Time Missions & Rules document causes confusion with your team, don't do it.   The content WILL conflict with the Game Time 2 Missions & Rules content.  The Game Time 2 Missions & Rules document will be what the challenge will follow at the tournament.
