2024-2025 Mission Horizon, Headed to the Moon
We are headed back to space with the Mission Horizon, Headed to the Moon Challenge. RCX has expanded options for schools to have their students participate in robotics. From the beginner to the experienced student, your kids will be able to program, problem solve and accomplish missions through robotics.
The purpose will be to provide missions which are both unique, but may duplicate measurements to help students problem solve. The purpose for duplicating measurements is to provide the opportunity for the students to use not only the simple motor commands while programming, but also loops and suitcases within the programs. The field is created so Mission Objects will be placed at angles (45, 60, 90 degrees), behind obstacles (some are movable, some not).
