The 2026-2027 Annual Challenge will be Game Time 2. We are going to build on what we learned from last year. Expect to use the Mission Objects in a new way. Maybe even some new Mission Objects for you to manage.
Plan to use the same mat as the 2025-2026 Game Time Challenge. Even most of the Game Time Mission Objects will be reused. However, the Mission Objects will be used in a different way. What is the theme? Games correct? So each Mission Object can be used from your perspective. Or your opponents perspective. This year your will have to think as if you are the opponent, reacting to the action of the other team.

Questions answered for Game Time 2Several coaches sent questions that will benefit everyone. The impression I am getting from comments is that coaches feel schools do not need to order supplies to participate, or can wait until later in the school to order. Q1. If I have supplies from last year's Game Time Challenge, do I have to do anything to participate? YES, To participate you must purchase the Game Time 2 Competition ADD-ON Kit. This purchase covers the cost of the the RCX Program to run the RCX Program, provide the Game Time 2 Challenge extra Mission Objects, and 1 Team Registration to participate at a Regional Tournament.
Q2. If I still have the Game Time Challenge supplies do I need to purchase the Game Time 2 Challenge complete set? NO, If you still have the Game Time Challenge supplies from last year, you only need to purchase the Game Time 2 Competition ADD-ON Kit.
Q3. Why is there a fee to participate if we still have last year's supplies? Just like any business, there are costs to keep the "lights On". Subscription fees, operational costs and so on.
Q4. Is there a cost for additional Team Registrations to participate in Game Time 2? YES. Each additional Team Registration is $40.
Q5. Should I order Game Time 2 supplies ASAP. Or can I wait? ORDER ASAP Because we are reusing last year's supplies, we need to know how many schools plan to participate. Once we get a feel for how many schools are going to participate, we will order supplies(new mats, mission objects, and so on). It will take 2 to 3 weeks minimum for the RCX Program to order supplies, to receive supplies, sort the supplies, then ship them to the schools. Personal Note. Surgery is in the future for one of my family members. There will be a period of time when the RCX Program will not be priority one. Lastly, because surgery and other medical related circumstances are in the near future and throughout the next 2 years, I must devote my time to my family. So to be able to provide the schools with a quality challenge, I need to know how many schools plan to participate to see if I have the time and ability to provide a quality Game Time 2 Challenge. |
